About me... Welcome

Welcome! My name is Danielle Knight. I am a curriculum resources designer, edtech enthusiast, and high school special education teacher. I have years of experience teaching small group instruction classes. I also have great experiences teaching in an inclusion classroom with regular education teaching partners. I am married to Mr. Knight who is an elementary physical education teacher. Together we have two little boys, ages 11 and 9.

My undergraduate degree is in Communication Studies from West Chester University, West Chester, PA. There, I was a member of the women’s softball team and a member of Alpha Sigma Tau National Sorority. It wasn’t until I was 30 years old, that I went back for a masters in education and started teaching.

Presenting professional development

THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO EXPLORE WHEN IT COMES TO CREATING A CLASSROOM FILLED WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENT SUCCESS. I BELIEVE IT STARTS WITH YOU.

Teacher-ready and student-friendly. That’s what your technology strategy should look like. Don’t invent the wheel. You already have a teacher cabinet filled with activities and ideas. Now it is time to infuse technology into those activities.

Presenting professional development

I am a co-owner of TWTCON (Teach with Tech Conference) and the ELA Success Summit. Both are entirely online professional development experiences for educators using technology and engagement strategies in their virtual and in-person classrooms. Teachers participate in a wide range of sessions all online that focus on your classroom teaching strategies.

Connect with speakers during the session live in the private Facebook group or watch the replays emailed to you in the evenings – all on your own device!

In August 2018, I was a part of Tech Splash 2018, Marlboro, NJ. Click here for more information on this amazing organization and their events.

If you are interested in speaking with me regarding PD and your staff’s needs, you can email me – I check my email regularly and will get back to you.

Thank you for stopping by. Don’t forget to follow my blog for updates on tutorials, tips, ideas, and resources.
