I love to share my Edgar Allan teaching unit during the fall months. Halloween is an awesome classroom backdrop to promote Poe’s Gothic literature! His short stories, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat, or his poem, The Raven are American Literature classics. My favorites!
This project can be used any time of the year. I adapted the body biography concept to align with informational texts, biography research, nonfiction, and history.
