Language Arts Small Group Task Cards: Grades 4, 5 and 6
Welcome to an easy way to implement differentiation into your lessons. Your students will find task cards as a refreshing way to review and use their critical thinking skills at their own pace.
Small Group Task cards are meant to stay in the classroom, emphasize the ELA common core standards, and to alleviate tedious seat work.
This set is highly appropriate for grades 4-6, to reinforce reading comprehension.
I shared these with my colleagues and we all feel the cards can be used in a basic skills / resource room ELA grades 7-12 class.
To Print: The cards will look the best in color, but will look really nice, too, in grayscale.
In a small group setting, I would place the cards on a ring and allow the students to have their own set. I usually carry them in a zip loc bag.
