Is your classroom focused on kindness, caring, making good decisions, friendship, social responsibility, community, and respect?
This FREE kindness activity will increase your student’s writing skills, achievement, and knowledge. Sketchnotes are creative, hands-on, auditory, personal, and brain-friendly fun! If you love interactive notebooks you’ll love this differentiation strategy! The kindness quotes for kids in this resource are also great for classroom discussion before starting the writing activity.

MODEL STANDARDS FOR ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: CRITICAL EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES
There are different versions included in this resource. The sketchnotes that do not have the quote encourages your students to add their own (visual notes are not all about the art – the focus is the visual content).
I really love how a concept can be mapped out with visuals like with interactive notebooks but without the cutting. Sketchnotes help my students’ memory and recalling skills -visual notes, pictures, symbols, sequence, color, and frames, and fonts.
Sketchnotes are an inspiring and logical way to engage in visual note-taking from direct and student-centered instruction. Sketchnotes can be used for:
★Auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners
★Studying and memorization
★Gaining insight on complex subjects
★Jogging your creativity
★Visually appealing presentation of information
★Allows students to discover their own style
Please provide me with really appreciated feedback!
