The book shares the stories from three main characters from three different eras; Josef, 1930’s, Nazi Germany, Isabel, 1990s Cuba, and Mahmoud, modern day 2015, Syria.

You’ll love watching your students collaborate. The activity is designed for students to communicate and work together. Encourage your students to find class members with poster pieces near their own to create their masterpiece.
