Description
Black History Month is February! This bundle highlights American stories of famous, brave, respected, and accomplished heroes. Explore Martin Luther King, Jr., Maya Angelou, Rosa Parks, Shirley Chisolm, Oprah Winfrey, Ruby Bridges, Jackie Robinson, Barack Obama, and Michelle Obama. Your students will engage in reading the biographies, writing textual evidence, webquest, speech analysis, poetry, and growth mindset activities. Skills reinforced are using textual evidence, inference, and analysis.
