Description

This Fahrenheit 451 poster and writing activity poster is inspired by Ray Bradbury’s dystopian short novel. You’ll see a fireman helmet’s reflection of a burning book that goes with the events in the novel. This activity and display would be a perfect companion for concluding a Fahrenheit 451 novel unit. After your students are finished writing and coloring, they will collaborate to assemble the 3.3 feet x 2.6 feet poster for your classroom wall, bulletin board, classroom door, hallway, lobby, or library. Your students will love coloring the bright flames!

The group poster project is a perfect size to laminate. The Fahrenheit 451, By Ray Bradbury poster includes assembly instructions and helpful tips to make it even better! You will only need to print this one time per class! That’s it.

The activity is designed for students to communicate and work together. Encourage your students to find class members with poster pieces near their own to create their masterpiece. The quote on the poster is, “Books were only one type of receptacle where we stored a lot of things we were afraid we might forget. There is nothing magical in them, at all. The magic is only in what books say, how they stitched the patches of the universe together in one garment for us.”
