Why should teachers promote mindfulness? The practices of mindfulness are being widely explored in schools throughout the United States and other countries. There is extensive research that has shown that mindfulness practices decrease stress, attention deficit issues, depression, anxiety, and hostility in children while benefitting health, well-being, and social relationships. Have you tried yoga or meditation? Might be fun and beneficial!
